I will take this to payroll tomorrow but to save me some embarrassment does anyone know about the following:

I work at the hospital 37.5hrs a week and the wage slip says worked 162.95, is this the number of hours per month??

I did a Saturday and Sunday:

It says 7.5hrs then it says 2.25 (I am assuming extra supplement for working the Saturday) but it says £29.37 for that day? my rate is 13.0554 so obviously 2.25 * 13.0554 is for that ONE HOUR???

Your assumptions here seem reasonable, but there's certainly nothing to lose from speaking to someone in the payroll/HR department.
