I've recently firmed UEA for English and American Literature, but I'm having doubts about whether or not I've made the right choice in declining Leicester for UEA! Shall I ask UCAS to change universities or stick with UEA?

I've vistied both and enjoyed their courses equally. Leciester ranks higher than UEA in the league tables but UEA is a campus university which is appealing. What should I do!? I only have two days if I want to change my mind...

You have to decide for yourself, nobody can tell you what the right thing to do is

I'm guessing you'll have made your choice by now but my advice would have been to make a list of pros and cons for each, not just the course and university but also the university's location. The only thing you list as really separating Leceister is its place in the league tables, but I don't think you should let this be the deciding factor; the difference is likely to be negligible and actually, UEA actually does btter in some league tables, demonstrating how inconsistent they can be.

Basically, I would have just stuck with UEA, there must have been something that made you firm it, it's natural to have doubts and I'm sure you'll have a great time at either.

And next you have an important decision to make, make you think it through very very carefully to avoid any lingering regrets!

UEA has a brilliant reputation for everything to do with English and is a beautiful university, so personally I'd stick with UEA. League tables don't mean squat.

    I'd personally stick with UEA

I'm a Medic at Leicester and live with a few girls who study English and they don't say the course is anything special.

Thanks for your responses! I've decided to stick with UEA. Hopefully it'll turn out to be a good decision.
