Hi, I'm sitting Higher English this year and finding it really difficult to revise for. Usually I'd make posters or flash cards but because English is all written information it doesn't really work for me in this case. I'd really like to hear what other people do and possibly tips. I've already flunked this once because I didn't know my stuff well enough, I really don't want to fail again

I did Higher English last year and got an A - one of the things that really helped me was making flash cards using StudyBlue on the poems I was doing - so for example I wrote out the poem on cards and left blanks to test how well I knew the poem, and also did flashcards on all the 'things' about it - themes, use of metaphors, etc. For the novel and drama I did I bought copies of them myself and highlighted important quotes and then wrote the quotes out on stickie notes and stuck them around my room and memorised those as well.
