Hi all, i was just wondering if the better universities would either know, or if they did know, criticise the fact that I resat a maths unit 3 test, bare in mind though that i did the test early, in march, and i would be re-sitting this summer, so would it just look normal as most people do this test in the summer? also does anybody have an inclination to what the grade boundaries are for the edexcel maths unit 3 higher test as if it is 72, which it usually is, then i got an A; if it is 69, then i almost definitely got an A*

they don't care if you resat GCSE units, even Cambridge don't care if you resit the odd A level unit

do you think that better a-levels would make up for slightly worse gcse's? E.g. if you got 3A*s at a-levels and the rest As but then got say A*AA or A*A*A at A2, would the bad GCSE but good A-level results cancel each other out?

A levels are much more important.
