If I was to acquire this qualification by working overseas, could I be entitled to entry on a degree level qualification into Zoology? BTEC Advanced Certificate in Tropical Habitat Conservation would be the qualification I would get. Let me know when you can whoever.
From a quick search round a few Zoology degree course details, they seem to want the higher BTEC Extended Diploma (equivalent to 3 A Levels).

    A few examples:

    University of Leeds

Entry with a BTEC is very specific:
BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma (QCF): Typically DDD in Applied Science or Animal Management. Applied Science must include the following units: Fundamentals of Science, Mathematical Calculations for Science, Biochemistry and Biochemical Techniques, Genetics and Genetic Engineering, Chemistry for Biology Technicians. Animal Management must include the following units: Animal Biology, Animal Nutrition, Animal Breeding and Genetics, Animal Anatomy and Physiology, Biochemistry and Microbiology.

    University of Reading

BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma: Grades DDD/DDM in a relevant subject.

    Newcastle University
    http://www.ncl.ac.uk/undergraduate/d...yrequirements/
BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma (formerly BTEC National Diploma)
A science-related subject with substantial biology and chemistry units at overall DDD grade.
