    so if i was to sketch r^2=a^2 sin0
    i know that its going to be some circle but i knew that by looking at the solution, when i tried to turn it into cartesian, i got a very strange form. how am i supposed to do this one?

    Well it's not a circle. It may look like that at first glance, but it more a slightly squashed circle.
