Is kinetic energy DIRECTLY proportional to absolute temperature? watch

    The average kinetic energy of the particles making up a substance is directly proportional to the absolute temperature (The temperature in Kelvin).
    This means that as the temperature increases so does the average kinetic energy of the particles, because an increase in temperature leads to that the average particle starts to move faster and so the average kinetic energy of the particles increases.
