Help please, I'm a mature student (ancient). Have gone back to college to try and salvage even a tiny bit of my brain - if I can ! Its a corporate business, distance learning, top-up course in Applied business/management. Course gave little or no introduction about the level though its a BA Hons course as I'm aware. Now on course, 3rd module in and its horrendous. 1st module I flipped out & couldn't submit. 2nd I got in & got 82%. 3rd module just submitted but think its a mess, ok presentation, a basic grasp of the concept, loads of text book quotes & hardly any critical content. I just ran out of time, even though I put loads of work in. It just seemed such a massive topic (global business environment) to fit in in 6 weeks !!! Are they grading us as a 3rd year economics student!!? If so how can we possibly be expected to compete ?? I now have a change management to re-submit in 2 weeks and panicking !! This isn't a hissy fit just a genuine full on strop! Anyone with any applied/top-up course experience I'd appreciate it !? I was't expecting it to be easy & was never going for a first but this seems a bit ridiculous and several of us seem to be saying the same thing. There's also a bit of a conflict between the institute and university so its a bit difficult who to approach !! Any experience would be appreciated thanks.
