    Good Morning sir/madam,
My name is ---, I go to -insert school- I am in year ---. I am looking for a work experience placement for -insert dates-. I was wondering if you take work experience students and if you may have anything suitable for me?
Thank you for taking your time to read my letter and consider me for a placement

    -insert your name-

--- you can flesh it out a bit a you like but I don't think it needs to be anything fancy. You could attach your cv if you have one. Otherwise I think that outlines everything you need to say while being to the point but not too vague.
