    Hi everyone.

I'm looking to join the RAF in the role of Survival Equipment Fitter, however I was wondering if my medical problems would restrict this.

I'm 18, and I've suffered with severe bunions since around the age of 11, in the March of last year, I had an operation to correct my right foot, it was quite a major one, since I had screws and pins placed in my foot.

In February this year, I had to have correction surgery on my right foot again, as I had prominent bone sticking out of my skin. Sometime this year, I'm going to have my left foot fixed for another severe bunion.

I was wondering if these issues were going to restrict my entry and if so, how long I had to wait to apply before they wouldn't anymore.

    Thanks.

Bone operations in the last 12 months is on the list. Don't know how they would class all of your operations.
