Tills. Hands down. Won't have to hear "Unexpected item in the bagging area" 5-6 times before everything's checked out

They'll all be gone soon anyway, retailers around the world are ripping them out and bringing back manned checkouts because self service checkouts are slower and cost the retailers more money, it's all about the bottom line. Have to say I'm stunned by the number of people who think they are quicker than manned tills, both anecdotal and statistical evidence show otherwise.

Tills, self service always ****s up and ends up taking longer than tills.

Self-checkout because the scanning is fun.

I prefer self-service. That way I can buy as many sweets and crisps as I want and not feel like the check-out person is judging me for being a pig.

Self service, it's quick especially if you have a few things - there's no point in waiting at the tills in a long queue

Depends. I'll use self service if there's no cue, because I cannot stand people behind me willing me to move quicker and get out of the way. My blood pressure rises.
