Occupational Therapy and Midwifery Course Content

Hi, I hope I have posted this in the right place! I am interested in studying OT or Midwifery but I really want to know about the individual course content, and the information on Uni's websites doesn't really help me.

I want to know how many science modules are included in each degree, and is this a set amount for the degrees or different for each uni? My mum, an OT, has told me that for this degree all science topics are in year 1 and require a 40% pass rate for these modules. Not sure how correct she is!

I don't expect you all to answer these particular quesitons, so could anyone advice me on how to find this out? Really stuck :frown:

Hi Catherine, I have received a conditional offer for OT and set about finding the study modules for each year in the course. You can check it out here:

https://webservices.ulster.ac.uk/modules/index/index/selFaculty/LH/selProgramme/4463/hModuleCode/OTH118/crn/55990

The content is for university of ulster and may differ from your chosen uni. I hope it gives you a general idea for OT though. Best of luck in your studies!

Thanks so much, very helpful! I presume it is correct then that all human sciences are only covered in the first year in all OT courses?

All the best with your OT future!
