question 5c i dont understand ratio very well and how do you show that ratio ends up being 2:3 :s really confused please help somebody !!
2. You use the position vector of P that you get in part (b) to get the vectors AP and BP. Since they are collinear, the vectors will just be multiples of one another.
3. A is ( 0,-5,11 )
P is ( 2,3,7 )
B is (5,15,1 )

the change in x values from A to P is 2, from P to B is 3

the change in y values from A to P is 8, from P to B is 12

the change in z values from A to P is -4, from P to B is -6

the ratio is the same in each case....

The ratio is a fraction.
