Best unis for Drama and Creative Writing?

I'm in my first year of sixth form doing English Lit & Lang, Theatre Studies, Music and French. I've stubbornly decided that I'll only go to Uni if I can do a really good Drama and Creative Writing course (or along those lines) and I was just wondering what the best ones are? I'm talking overall, the course, the nightlife, the location etc...

Well, if you want to a course that specifically covers Drama and Creative Writing, I think Salford and LJMU both do them. Salford is right next to Manchester (literally blends into one another) so for nightlife/city life it's not bad.

However, if you want to do study Drama/Theatre and Performance titled courses (which all include to some degree elements of learning creative writing practices anyway) then in terms of academia I would rank the following: Warwick, QMUL, Bristol, Manchester and Lancaster. I've only ever heard good things about these places. Out of these, I would say that QMUL, Bristol and Manchester have the best scope for nightlife. I'm not sure what socialising is like at Lancaster, and not sure either for Warwick.

Personally, for the best all-round experience I would go for either QMUL or Manchester.
I hadn't looked at QMUL yet actually, thanks.

The best for creative writing is probably East Anglia. Not sure about the Theatre bit though
SMUC offers both. My friend is on the drama course (either physical or applied theatre, i forget) and loves it
