When you are out clubbing.. do you talk to most people you dance with etc again?

    I don't, it seems like a waste?

Is it normal not to? I was dancing with 2 girls last saturday then I was at the same club last night saw them both and they didn't really talk..

is this the norm in the clubbin' life? lol

The sort of clubs that I go to, it is encouraged to chat and socialise, because it brings together a lot of people who have passion about house music and discovering new tracks. And I guess some people are going to be chatty anyway because of the associated mdma culture.

I guess it depends what sort of clubs you go to. Ones that are just about getting pissed and copping off aren't going to be about meeting new friends so much.

I've met a few people that I still speak to now for 6 years ago when I used to go to those clubs more often.

Well this was ages ago in Sheffield, back when the Plug did proper music and not the god awful student pop classics/cheese nights. No idea if they've redeemed themselves.

Nowadays I'm in London and go to places like The Nest. Also Bar Vinyl in Camden can be good for a more "sober" atmosphere. Try "house of rhythm" nights for deep/soulful house. If you like tech/harder sounds, you'll probably like the clubs in stoke newington and east London. The Nest does good techno as well if you're into that.

If I dance with a guy when I'm clubbing if I see them around uni during the day it's just awkward and we tend to look away from each other like we've never met. I think it's normal.
