Definitely a possibility! Keep your fingers crossed!

The simultaneous equation at the end was absolutely awful. Luckily I'm resitting Unit 3 on Monday!

Oh yeah, I know :frown: that, the inverse proportion question and another dumb mistake is what I lost 12 marks on :/

Good luck!

Does anyone have an idea of how lenient the markers are going to be, for giving working out marks, even if the final answer is wrong?
My final results are:

Paper 1: 83/100 (really difficult paper to be honest, messed up on vector)
Paper 2: 100/100 (happy!)

183/200 - Is this an A*? Really hope so! Couldn't believe my paper 2 mark
well done! yeah that's definitely A*, what do you think the boundaries will be?

I'm thinking 165-175 as the A* boundary, because paper 2 was the easiest calculator paper by far, and paper 1 one of the most difficult non-calc, , the boundaries should remain similar to the March 2013, if not a little higher.

I'm sure the grade boundaries don't go down , they increase or either they stay the same?

They do go down often, if the paper is considered harder. The March paper was much easier than this one and June 2012 hence the higher grade boundaries. I would be very surprised if the grade boundaries stayed the same as March.

Yeah they're my predictions, please don't take them to be 100% reliable ... Edexcel are normally consistent with June maths boundaries

What were the June 2012 (and 2011 if you know them) grade boundaries? I really want an A*

I would say A* is 164 so if you got the middle or top end of that its an A* well done!!!

Just wondering, could it possibly ever go under 160 for an A*?

Very very unlikely, mid 160's is pretty likely

Argh.... I only ask as I estimated me as 154/200 :colondollar::colondollar::colondollar:

Meh, I'll be happy with an A. (considering I only started higher 6 months ago)

Can't wait till results day :colondollar::colondollar::colondollar::colondollar:
Hey Tohaaa, very unlikely, we are looking at mid/low 160's for A* and high 120's maybe low 130's for an A.

That's really good mate, i got like 145 so an A - which is very good!
If I'm lucky, I might make it into the 160's, but I'm gonna be so pissed if I'm one or two marks off an A*; I'm gonna have to spend my year 11 going over everything again and I cba.. My math class is boring enough as it is -_-
