I'm having a nightmare! I have fractured my finger during basketball in P.E on Tuesday and I have been to the hospital and had it X-rayed and it turns out that I have fractured one of the bones on my middle finger on my right hand which is my writing hand and drawing hand! At the moment it's quite swollen and the swelling is preventing me from bending it too far, it's very bruised underneath :/ the problem is I have my 10 hour art exam in two weeks.. Will the swelling go down by then? I still have to do prep, I can draw but it's very slow is there any chance I will be able to enquire for extra time or something like that? Can anybody give me advice on helping the swelling to go down?

Usually you have 3 days for the exam (10 hours exam time & the rest of the time in the days for preparation), not sure if its the same at your school but when I did my gcses 2 years ago, we were made to keep a time sheet, I went over on my time sheet by quite a lot but it doesn't really matter, just let your teachers know about your finger and warn them you may be slower than normal, they should understand and turn a blind eye to your time sheet not even sure if I gave mine in hehe
    hope this helps
if you have any other questions concerning art, textiles and graphics I'm here to help as I did all at gcse, as and at a2
