The fuss over a three-party coalition was in the 8th Parliament, and the Constitution was amended by the time of the 9th. There hasn't been a fuss about multi-party governments in some time.
Ninth, we had 19 seats and wanted to go it alone.

Well done to all, a well fought election.

Pleased with UKIP's result as toronto said; and we keep the number of seats at 6.

I knew it involved labour but I thought it was lab-soc-lib dems that had the issue?
Your talking about the popular front right? Rakas won't admit that was ever a legitimate government

    Ha, ha.

No the Lab-Cen-Lib-Ukip which i heard was quite bad. That evolved into the Lab-Lib one which collapsed and allowed the Tories to rise from the ashes.

That's the problem with the Conservatives and the Libers, they're splitting the TSR UKIP vote.

As its a coalition system on TSR that's never really being an issue before because no party secures a majority (only in 2009 did we once pass 30%), to get into government (which has no real power here bar our ties to the MUN) requires being able to attract other parties to a coalition and a constructive working relationship is more important here than how many seats you hold largely).

It's great to be the winner of the right though obviously.

What for? I've either tried to contribute meaningfully or engaged in what has openly been described as humourous and reciprocated 'trash talk' by all parties. Seems a little undeserved.

Tuerin is annoying, but there are far worse. And as he says, he was trying to be constructive some of the time, which is better than some people we might mention

    Sorry Tuerin!

I love that you say this when i just quoted a post that you made claiming the liberals were a brand new party, then when you were called up on it had another reply trying to weasel out of it rather than admit you were talking *******s...really? :p:

Also, could be because i had a bad day, but i didn't find the trash talk about the 'libers' as entertaining, and you are also quite low in my books for embracing the name change, because quite frankly, it is a load of pish. A load of pish the electorate seem to have seen through anyway.

EDIT: Also, didn't you think the speaker is a party member? People that are so new not to grasp the basics that then try to change workings (i.e. regarding PM votes) don't get much respect from me.

I'm sorry I'm considered mildly annoying, but a little confused. What is annoying, exactly; can you point me to some posts as examples? You may have misinterpreted my tone; I have a dry sense of humour that, if taken the wrong way, can appear a little abrasive.

Mate you're no more annoying than I am, I wouldn't worry. Just don't get so het up, it's a game after all!

The Liberals are a new party in the sense that we are operating under a new label. There is easily an argument there that we are a new party. We were the Liberal Democrats. We are now the Liberals. Please don't accuse me of 'weaseling' out of arguments or talking *******s. That's unnecessarily offensive as well as false, and, amazingly, annoying.

Also, could be because i had a bad day, but i didn't find the trash talk about the 'libers' as entertaining, and you are also quite low in my books for embracing the name change, because quite frankly, it is a load of pish. A load of pish the electorate seem to have seen through anyway.
This is simple hyper-sensitivity (quite an annoying trait, as it happens). Mac and I checked we were both fine with the talk on our respective walls. Don't attack me for not being able to handle innocent banter which, incidentally, wasn't directed to you or your party.

Our previous name was costing us at the ballot box because of the negative association voters had with the RL party. It was disallowing a fair judgement of our active and positive contributions to MHoC. You are attempting to pass off your irritation at another progressive party's renouncement of unjust electoral baggage as 'a load of pish'.

EDIT: Also, didn't you think the speaker is a party member? People that are so new not to grasp the basics that then try to change workings (i.e. regarding PM votes) don't get much respect from me.
No, I didn't. I said that the Speaker would have had a party affiliation once-upon-a-time which may continue to influence them despite officially discarding previous ties. Perhaps you should make sure you know what I actually said before attacking it.

You call me annoying yet here you are crying about a bit of harmless banter that didn't involve you at all, about the positive effect of the Liberals discarding their previous name and distorting what I've said all so you can have a go at someone because you've 'had a bad day'. Sorry you've had a bad day but that doesn't give you license to pour your sorrows over my unsuspecting head, only to then have the nerve to tell me that I'm the one being annoying! :eyeball:

This is basically what I'm talking about, so, no. But like I say, you're fine.
