I am on the verge of finishing my IGCSEs and still very confused whether i should do A-levels or IB? I want to study astronomy in the future and dont know whether A-levels or IB will be good for that.

    Any advice?

A levels. The IB isn't worth it, unless you want to leave the UK for uni

The IB is the better qualification.

IB is known world wide and it teaches you much more than academics.

CAS is a lot of documentation, but its fun..

I'm almost done with the IB, so I'd say go for that. It's tough, but you can learn a lot. The CAS documentation bit is tedious, but it kind of makes sure that you still are involved in activities outside of school. And Theory of Knowledge is an extremely fun class to have (with the right teacher, of course).
