    Hey,

I want to study a masters in criminology msc at Leicester university in 2014. I would just like to know if anyone has any tips on how I could be accepted?

I am just finishing my degree in criminology and hoping for a first. I really do lack practical experience though. I have just applied to be a special constable but it takes ten months just to start the training. I have looked at other unis but this is the only Uni that I think I want to go to, and I have no idea what their intake rate is - do take decline most applicants?

Anyway, I would love some advice on how I could be accepted.

    Thank you.

One of my mates is on the one with a placement at the moment and he didn't have much practical experience, though he's a Special now, and only had a 2.1 so think you'd be in with a chance. He was a Leicester grad though.
