Hi, i don't really have that many friends. We have drifted apart and now I find myself with 1 or 2 close friends, but that's it. I struggle to meet girls because of this as well.

I went to college when I was younger, but I never went to University. I am thinking of doing an access course and then possibly going to University next year.

What kind of classes could I join to meet new people?

I actually want to meet girls mainly, but it's so difficult without being in education and not having much of a social life. I was thinking of joining a local Amateur dramatics group, but I'm undecided about that.

Could really use some ideas, thanks.

I will write a list of activities, places and clubs you can meet people almost anywhere, its just the talking that is sometimes the problem, but that is up to you

    -swimming pools
    -gym
-any kind of sports/recreational activity class
-out walking the dog/walking around a park (talk to people with other dogs, if you have a dog. Something in common straight away!)
-Friends of friends- maybe organise a party/get together and say to your friends that they can bring some other friends along, then you can meet them!
-your neighbours. Can always talk to neighbours
-chat to people in supermarkets and clothes shops, you never know
-get a new job? And meet new people through that. Perhaps a job involving travelling?
-Get your friends to set you up with a girl
-Online dating (although i wouldn't fancy that cos i think its kind of creepy, each to their own)
    -speed dating events
    -bars and clubs
    -Art classes
    -Socials at the local pub

    Hope this helps a bit
