    Do Social Work students have to have the Hepatitis B vaccine?

    It's a good idea to have it - I got mine free at my University doctors with a signed letter from my course saying it was recommended. Saying that, it depends what service users you'll be working with on placement etc. as some areas are much more high risk for Hep B than others.

    Thanks, i started the course of Hep B vaccines in 2008 but never finished the course so i guess i'll need to start all over. lol

    You might not need to start again, your doctor might take a blood test to see if the course has given you any immunity at all and then decide whether to start again or just have a booster.
