So my hypothesis is based on films and it goes like this: Re-makes of old films do better in terms of how well they do in the box office due to the better quality of the new films.

But now i am kind of stuck as to what to do next. I understand i need to specify sampling methods but which ones would be better?

Can someone please start me off...i seriously would sppreciate some help. Thanks

I don't do GCSE Statistics so I'm not much help, but if you're completely stuck, this might help.

I don't know how many sampling methods you have, but stratified sampling sounds good to me.

you need to decide your population size- will it be just hollywood films or all films or films from a certain region or genre?
try to make your hypothesis more specific

Also nowadays more people are alive so more can go to the cinema.
If you won £30,000, which of these would you spend it on?
