    i have this friend that i have known for ages, however he left school and went on to do a btec course in vehicle maintenance in college. heres the link to the course he is doing

    he wants to get a job after this , do a apprenticeship, where he will get paid but the problem is he doesnt have the minimum entry requirements to apply to those apprenticeships, which is grade c or above in maths and english. what can he do, any suggestions????

    Apply to retake as a private candidate in his old school, shouldn't cost much if he manages to convince someone in the faculty.

    Then when he has the results, apply... sorry if this is an obvious answer.
