Anything international related is always attractive for larger companies - but completely clueless about politics :-/

I did a study year abroad in singapore from uni of glasgow and most of my interviews have homed in on that so I'm sure that international element could be important!

Generally it is a well-respected academic degree. It doesn't generally lead directly into anything specific, but like any humanities-type degree, it opens lots of doors.
