    Hey everyone !

So I want to study IT degree in normal university but unfortunately my GCSE very bad so I decided that access to HE course would be the best option to get into university. Due to personal problems I can't go to college and study it so I'm looking for a distance learning access course but all distance learning providers offering all kind of access courses but not related to IT or computing. However OU offering Certifitate of HE and Diploma of HE. Does anyone know if I would finish any of those would get me into university like access to HE course from college would ?

p.s. I don't want to do again GCSE's and I'm not interested in distance learning degree.

thanks very much for your help and not going off topic! :/

This may be possible, but you'll need to check with the individual universities you're thinking of applying to whether or not they'll accept it as this can vary quite a bit.

 I asked (different course) about this and they had to check that I was studying the same as the first year students or something.

I was told no by one uni and the other haven't got back to me yet.
