Why is it that whenever I buy this book I am giving awkward stares by the store workers?
I have purchased the book three times now in my life, and each time when I get to the counter I am giving derogatory stares by the people behind the counter.
I am well aware of the negativity that surrounds the book, but why do people assume it is only racists who would buy it?

I've bought it once and didn't get any weird reactions. Might just be you. Also why did you buy it three times?

Might you have been wearing a full SS uniform? If not I think it was just a coincidence.

They're probably suspicious if you've told them you've bought three copies of it

You have a Prussian eagle as your avatar, the name "Glory&Honour", and have bought Mein Kampf thrice in your life.

    Hm. (jk)

People probably care a lot more if you buy it while wearing fascist symbols, like your avatar for instance. :erm:

I don't believe people do think that solely racists do buy it. I haven't bought the book as I have been told it is very badly written and I don't have a lot of free time, but when I do have more free time then I would still like to read it; to read into the mind of a man who had many good, socialistic ideas that he promoted to help bring his country back up to scratch so to speak and how he slipped into this monstrous man. Then again, maybe the 'front' was to only hide his real inner evilness and to appeal to the masses first.

If anything the funny looks your getting are probably because people can't imagine why anyone would want to read such a disgusting man's works. These people are probably naive. I don't think we should limit exposure to any of these sorts of media, in fact it only gives me more informed reason as to why I am so opposed to dictatorship, although some would argue these texts 'inspire' some individuals.

It is almost ironic isn't it that the same book that Hitler burned because they were full of untruths, people now wish they could burn his book. It is almost like they have something to hide?

While Hitler had some crazy ideas, no-one can deny that he dragged his country up to superpower with only his shear will. He created a community, a banner that his country could unite behind. When I look at what has happened to Britain I wish someone would come along and make this country great again, someone all true British natives could unite under, and drive out the leftist pollution that has infected our shores.
We need someone who can rouse the young, and make them believe, just as Hitler did in the 30's.

Hitler roused the young by telling them they were ethnically superior. Do you propose something similar?

I got judgement once at a store...then again I did place on the counter "A concise history of Satanism" and "The Hungry Caterpillar"

Mind you, I know someone who bought something along the lines of "Introduction to Clinical Child Pychology" and "50 Spicy Positions and Bedroom Tricks"
Didn't think till he got the counter...mong.

No he didn't drag his country up to a superpower, he is responsible for the slaughter of millions. All achieved by infecting a nation with his propaganda and supremacist bull****. Seriously you god awful opinions have appeared on every thread I've come across this afternoon, and all of them have been bilious and obnoxious. If this country is so terrible please feel free to leave.

Surely it's better to fix the problem, rather than give up and walk away?

I've purchased this book before, and I haven't been given any strange looks, although this was possibly due to the ignorance of the person serving me, who didn't look like they had two brain cells to rub together. (This is not a generalisation about all those who work in retail, by the way - I know you're not all thick.)

If you can get past the fact that the author was not a particularly nice bloke, it's a fascinating read.

Your political views worry me, G&H Hitler was never really good for anything- his economic policies were unsustainable too, and the "community" he tried to create always seemed to me to be trying to bring the world back to the violence of its past- the last and most bloody death throe of a savage old order which nearly managed to resurrect itself. Hitler roused the young to nothing more than mindlessly following orders and satisfying their bloodlust- the Hitler Youth was a cruel organisation which encouraged backwards values. You should embrace the existence of leftists- any plurality of views is a good thing. And British natives don't actually exist we're a country of patchwork people.
