    I'm just curious as to what the main differences between the two are, and the advantages/disadvantages of each of them over one another. Thanks for your input.

    To me, Economics is more valuable and prestigious than management/finance/business. Moreover, with an undergrad in economics you can go on postgraduate in either economics or business/finance/management. It won't be the case the other other way.
    However, you may find business/management/finance studies more appealing because they are more practical than economics which also goes along with more quantitative tools.
