Few questions on cheap living. watch

    • Thread Starter

Hi, my family and I need to cut down alot this summer to pay off some debts and are cutting corners everywhere. Have a few questions:

    Is electric cheaper at night?
Is it cheaper to wash dishes in the sink or use a dishwasher machine?
Roughly how much could you save by never having the heating on?
Roughly how much does an electric heater costs to run 24/7? Are they expensive?
Are there any free schemes we can take advantage that reduce bills like free insulation or something?

Does anyone from your family smoke or occasionally drink?
Do you agree with the PM's proposal to cut tuition fees for some courses?
