    Hi there

I'm studying in the uni of Liverpool and trying to use Endnote to help with my references for my dissertation proposal. I believe I am assess the university's site license through my account at home. but I've looked it up on line and wasted the last 2 hours trying to make it work with Word with no success. Any suggestions? (so Endnote is NOT installed on my laptop)

It sounds like you're gonna need to install the Endnote software (or at least the plugin, if there is one) in order to get the intergration working.

Two versions of Endnote exist, the web version or the application. For the vast majority, who only use Endnote as a referencing tool, there is little difference.
To import references with the web version you need to install a plugin. Instructions should be on the web version.
Let me know if you need more help.
