First off, for those of you who managed to secure a place in a dental school, congratulations and good luck!
I am also interested in a career in dentistry. I am currently in year 11 (GCSEs), and am aware that GCSE grades have an impact on whether or not a dental school will offer you an interview/place.
If you would not mind, could you please just put down the number of A* grades, A grades, B grades, etc? It's just so I can get an idea of what's needed at GCSE level in order to have a chance at dentistry (the applicants on the stalking pages don't put GCSE grades up). Obviously, I'm aware that dental schools put GCSE "requirements" on their websites and prospectuses, but obviously these are a minimum and dental schools really only want the best.
No need to put down which subject you acheived a particular grade in, just the numbers of each grade. Thaks very much for your help

Barts literally want 3 A's and 2 B's in GCSE. Literally if someone has 11 A*s and someone else just 3A's and 2 B's and rest C's they stand the same chance. Of course still taking into consideration PS, ukcat etc etc
However for KCL, the more A*s you have, the better chance you stand- and there's no ''cut-off'' it just all depends on your year that's applying.
Do not worry too much, just try to get mainly A's and A*'s.
let you minimum be a B, you'll be fine hopefully
Concentrate on getting the right work exp this summer though
