It's driving me absolutely crazy. I went to the doctors on Tuesday with earache and he said I have an infection. Then my right ear blocked up that night and I've been deaf ever since. I feel fine now and my cold has gone but I wonder how long is normal to still be deaf for??

I've tried steaming it with Olbas Oil and blowing my nose while pinching it.

Don't blow your nose like that you'll burst a ear drum. You need to remove the pressure, so get a hot water bottle and lie your ear on it until it goes cold. It will soften the gunk (gross I know) and let it drip out. Should be gone in 4/5 days. Iv had ear infections every few weeks all my life so gotten used to it lol
