I recently updated my Galaxy S3 to Jellybean 4.1.2, and now the phone has developed charging problems.

It seems to charge about 2% per hour:beard:and seems to discharge about 30% within an hour when switched on and processing light tasks such as web browsing.

Any idea as to how common this problem is, and how to fix it?

Hmm maybe you need to do a factory reset

    thanks for the quick response

i've already tried numerous factory resets, which seem to be resetting the device to JB 4.1.2. Resetting to ICS no longer seems an option.
