Mine was only about two and a half days long, as by the Tuesday morning I'd met my supervisor, was going to lectures (ah, remind me what those are again?) and readign for my first essay.
I really wish I'd not gone so OTT with work teh first week- I had a completely wrong conception of how much was involved. Still, I enjoyed the little I had a lot.

Lectures didn't start until the Thursday! I had an essay set on the Monday of freshers week having arrived on the Sunday, however, it wasn't due in until the next Sunday.
