    Hi

Does anybody know if part time post-grads are eligible for student loans? In particular I am talking about a PGCE I can't seem to find much information about this online.

    Thanks

The PGCE is funded by student finance. I believe you can do it part time, though not 100% sure, you should call SFE and ask to be sure.

Part-time PGCEs are definitely funded by Student Finance:

You can get student finance for the following full or part-time teacher training courses if you’re an undergraduate or postgraduate:
    Initial Teacher Training (ITT)
    Postgraduate Certificate of Education (PGCE)
    School-Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT)
    https://www.gov.uk/teacher-training-funding

You should be fine - good luck!
