    Depends on your pov. Mainstream rock is critically **** on nowadays which was much less the case a few decades ago. For good reason imo. Maybe rock is deteriorating but rock is a very expansive genre.

    No, but its not being pushed by media. Manufactured crap is taking over the music industry and good rock musicians aren't getting noticed

    The thing about our age is there is an abundance of all music, though only one sort is shown.rock/blues/jazz, all there, just not mainstream

    its not dying out, just not as popular anymore...pop and hip-hop has pretty much taken over right now but hopefully rock will make a return soon
