sorry don't mean to be harsh but what you just said SHOULD motivate you to study..if you don't study you won't go to a good university, so erm, study?

cut out pictures of places you would end up working in if you don't get your finger out & sellotape them to your bedroom wall instead of pictures of Bieber & One Dire Erection

The trick is just to begin. My problem with revising for exams and writing research projects is that I always stress about how much work there is to do, put it off and then start late on the back foot.

You've just got to put all that to one side and start digging in somewhere; usually once you've taken that first step then you start speeding up very quickly.

And as ohmars said, try and think about the universities that you want to get into and what they'll be looking for grade-wise. I seem to remember a lot of people holding lofty dreams in Year 12 and then doing so-so in AS exams and then realising pretty much overnight that they wouldn't be able to aim for the top anymore.

If you've got a clear target of where you want to study then use that as a target - remember you'll be competing at the very top level nationwide and globally to get into the top universities, so if you put in the work now at AS-level you'll be one step ahead of the crowd.

Hope that helps and good luck!

If you don't you'll end up on Jeremy Kyle.
