I've always been light and skinny, but decided six months ago I wanted to gain weight and gain some arm size.
Back then I was 6"2, 10 stone and 17yo. Since then, I've increased my calorie intake to well over 3,000 a day, drank at least 2 pints of full fat milk a day, and started doing basic curls with dumbbells at home (10.5kg, 3 sets of 7 reps), as well as press ups and sit ups.
Despite all this, I seem just as scrawny, and have only gained 3lb.

    Thanks for any advice

If you want to gain weight properly like to have wonderful muscles and just like having smart belly then you have to do exercise also beside eating. Take proper calorie intake, protein shake or any other supplement.

    **** arm size

Especially if you're a beginner, concentrate on chest/back/legs

You need some kind of progression. You need to be attempting to do more reps, more weight or more total lifts every single session at your stage of development. If you are not gaining weight, eat more.

Eat more, and work out properly.

Press ups and sit ups won't do ****, and the latter are pretty much entirely useless.

You won't get **** with those baby dumbbells so your best bet is to join a gym.

As people have said, eat more and learn how to lift weights properly.

Also if you are on a program stick with it, don't do what lots of people do and change their routine every week. If it's 5x5 then do 5x5 and keep going until you stop making gains. If you are not on a lifiting program, find one, any one and stick with it.
