I'd say masryboy94, Qari, x-Sophie-x & StalkeR47 are the main leaders to this thread. HAHA

For question 1, I got the answer to the penultimate part, but then stupidly thought it was wrong so wrote something random down. Then I used that answer/320000 x 100 for the last part.
Anyone know if I would get any marks for any of them?
    So annoyed at myself!!

dude you can do it by counting the squares!
its a lot less accurate though compare to the easier method of finding area of the large tringle up to the limit of proportionality + other regular shaped areas underneath the line

so I think I almost certainly got the answer wrong (outside the range of accepted values)

but maybe I get 1-2 method marks?

You'll get 1 mark definitely for use of right equation

You will get a mark for the method (second part) yes! And congratulations on your reputation in this thread! Your discussion on TIR made me start a lecture on it. It has been proven to be very helpful (made people pick 4 marks in the exam cause of you).

Yep! And there was another question. Explain the ray you have drawn in figure ? . Or something like that and the answer was same, conditions of TIR.

If you drew the line wrong, but you gave a reason for what you did. Like I did refraction and said because it doesn't have angle greater than critical angle would I get the mark?

It was 22.2% answer. And it was a 3 mark question.
I got this too! Because you do 3900000/the time they give you and then divide this by the power they gave you and times by 100!

If you drew a refracted ray on the figure, you will get the mark I think.
