    beauty with phya2, is ecf, almost every question on a paper i've done they had ecf, so i would expect ecf for you too

    so I think I almost certainly got the answer wrong (outside the range of accepted values)

    but maybe I get 1-2 method marks?

    You will get a mark for the method (second part) yes! And congratulations on your reputation in this thread! Your discussion on TIR made me start a lecture on it. It has been proven to be very helpful (made people pick 4 marks in the exam cause of you).

    If you drew the line wrong, but you gave a reason for what you did. Like I did refraction and said because it doesn't have angle greater than critical angle would I get the mark?

    If you drew a refracted ray on the figure, you will get the mark I think.
