    Hi

What are the job prospects for working as a security guard? I am thinking of applying for training and then getting an SIA badge. I was wondering if paying the £400 fee for training and the badge is worth it?

Are there many jobs for security guards? I am currently living between Birmingham and Leeds

But don't you need experience for being a security guard? At least majority of job ads that I've seen did require you to have at least 1 year of experience. Unless the course provider helps you to find a placement.

How long does the course last? Is the provider on of the top ones in that industry or just random one?
