Good choice or bad choice as the new manager of Sunderland?

Bad, he is new to a bigger style of football and Sunderland only have a few games left, wouldn't it be ideal to have a manager who at least knew the club for the last few games instead of hiring a total new person to Premier League management, let's not forget that Di Canio had done at Swindon Town but this is the Football league, Premier League is nothing compared to that, but I feel as if he got to the Championship he'd be able to have atleast a bit of knowledge about the Premier League from Relegated teams. His Political views would also cause controversy to Sunderland FC.
