Ah yes, I can remember some of the points I missed out.
Please by any means though don't compare my answers to an unofficial mark scheme, they may be completely wrong.

So here's my interpretation of the paper for anyone who wants to read (maybe TLDR :P)
    I'm liking this one...
    Getting over 70 :ahee:

that was to direct u that it's like microorganisms , takes hours to evolve . my biology teacher said that's right and this question was some past paper also
It's not really a microorganism, bacteria take hours to evolve as they have a very short life cycle, water bears can live up to 60 years, evolution is going to be much slower.

I am a fool... on that difference between RNA and DNA question I crossed out one of my answers and that was single stranded because I thought mRNA was single stranded not RNA in general because doesn't HIV have RNA as its a retrovirus (not in exam but just a point).

Basically... I said that DNA has the sugar deoxyribose whereas RNA had the sugar ribose.

Would I still get the mark, lol

still 10 marks to be found? total you have in markscheme 90 so some questions missed but good work!
oh shoot. i forgot to mention the plant species being wild.
for meselson and stahl i wrote shake tubes at same speed.
equal volume of solution in each tube and same concentration of sugar solution

    for tb spread
i wrote that people in poor countries dont have condoms and so they can get hiv. making them susceptible to tb
    overcrowding
    lack of ventillation

for eia i said-see if theres any endangered species
what effect will be had on the species if it was moved
and the size of the development i think

for the calculations part. i got all my values right except for the last one- the biodiversity index one- hw many marks gone?

the last question i spoke about speciation cos i didnt realise it was on the insert- silly me. but it could still be right? suggest usually has a few suggestions.

for capillaries i said that they are small and so can leave along with other stuff.- obv more detailed

for the reasons for conservation of squirrel- i said that they may be part of a foodchain and you wouldnt want to disrupt them
and that ethical stuff which govenrments would obviously think.

for the reason why the species may be lower- i said some populations of it may have died out
then i said some crap about adaptation for the next point.

for yield size i said- crops have little variation and are only mae to do well in that climate. when the climate isnt the specific one it was bred for the plants dont do as well.

could somebody please tell me how much that is lost in total.

    thank you!!!

That's what I put; I don't think we'll get the mark, they're both pentose sugars :unimpressed:

There was a one mark question on the potato question about what causes the resistance in some potato crop, or something like that. What did people put for that, wasn't sure between random mutation or natural selection, went with mutation.
