    Same here! 2 months

There must be a quicker option, imagine if teachers marked it right after we finish, invigilators double check the grades and make sure the marking is correct?

They just send a mark scheme to each exam center and it's marked there, and maybe even send a couple back for moderation... that was we get a basic idea of our grade (maybe in the same day) or same week!

I'm sure there's some logical reason against this though, just can't think of it!
Erm the teachers are overly generous

I put 'myobacterium bovis' instead of 'mycobacterium bovis'
Would I still get the mark?

There's always the chance you have a marker who skims, so she/he may not pick up on such a small error or may even give you a b.o.d mark; I had to read that a couple of times to see what the error was!

Damn it; I put secondary structure instead of primary, I thought primary structure was how amino acids bond and secondary was the sequence, only 1 mark I suppose!

I calculated several times my total marks realistically and on the depth of knowledge written for the marks.
I am against those "suggest" questions that seem to colloquial for an easy, accurate answer so I lost a couple in them for definite.

I just like the centrifugation question!
My luck was in store; my school hired and Senior Examiner last month and she spent time giving strategies for that EXACT question - that originates from 1985 really!
    Total!?
    93/100.
I can be very proud of myself; I revised a hell of a lot and this is my reward hopefully!
I hope you done great too!
I was a phenomenal paper, in my opinion!

    Primary Structure is correct.
Additional guidance may also accept polypeptide.

Are you sure collagen is flexible? :/ if it has high tensile strength?
Surely a good answer for arteries would be that it is insoluble :/ eh not sure.

Do you think I would have got the mark for:
    1. Lack/no good access to health care
    2. Poverty stricken areas (I wrote something like that)
    3. No good water supply etc - but I now think thats wrong :/

    Guys a couple of questions
For the TB spread question I was unsure when they said low income groups so panicked and put poor diet/malnutrition, homelessness, and increased exposure to infected cattle is that right?

Also for immune response when it said why is it non specific I said it isn't triggered by specific antigens and doesn't cause production of lymphocytes, and for why is it a secondary response I said that it had already entered the body and past primary defences.

    are these all right?
not sure, I put that they couldn't afford time off work so spread the disease, public transport exposed them more and that they may not afford to be vaccinated. I was pretty proud of the work one ^^

Yeah, on the mark scheme for a past paper you had to write eukaryote, for the domain, and it had a load of ways to write and spell it
