I've applied for Marine Biology, but I'm not sure if it's what I want to do anymore. Some days I'm excited for it, others I'm kinda like totally put off it.

I'm thinking about re-applying for Biological Sciences as it's way more broad, and then I can hopefully decide what I want to specialise in after. This is also better as I can apply where I want. Not many unis offer Marine Bio, so I basically applied for the sake of it, not to Unis I genuinely liked.

My other areas of interest are Neuroscience and Zoology. I also considered doing degrees in these but I'm still unsure. I find Biochemistry/Medical stuff kinda boring, apart from like anatomy, disease, etc. I also don't really enjoy plant biology that much.

So basically, what are all of these degrees like? If you applied for one of them, why did you pick it? Would you recommend me to apply for Biological Sci or something more specific?

Also, is there anything to help me make the decision? I'm so bad at deciding on things, so if there is any extra reading/experience I could do that would help me, please let me know.

Thank you so much for reading! Sorry it's so long. I would love to hear your views

Is it worth re-applying next year, to give yourself some time to think about what it is you really want to do in life? I'm a strong believer that you should do what really makes you happy. Living to work, rather than working to live and all that. I'm 24, and going to university in September. I didn't know what I wanted from life until I was 23, so I can fully empathise with you.

Yeah definitely agree with you. But sometimes I feel like I'll never make my mind up!

There's people on my Access course that didn't even know what they wanted to study at uni until the UCAS deadline date, so you're not alone there!
