I guess the title of my post is rather vague, but I could not figure out how to word it, any who, here we go.
I am an english lad, 20 years old, studying in France. I took french law, dropped out, it wasn't for me, learning the "Code Civil" by heart and spitting it out, nah.
After that failure, I moved on to do the equivalent of a Higher National Diploma in International Trade (Brevet de Technicien Superieur en Commerce International). I am top of the class, and find all the aspects of the course extremely easy, hence my lack of motivation in this period of finals.
However, I do not know what I want to do next year, nor what I wish to do as a career...
I was considering getting a 3rd year professional licence in import/export, but they do not teach any other languages than french and english, and the course takes place in Chippenham, giving me a double diploma: the french LP and a HNC in business.
Now, I am not scared of doing another 2 or 3 years of studying, I would love to get a Masters Degree, just I don't know in what, because after these two years and 3 months of work placements, I am not excited by the prospect of spending 10 hours/day trying to sell product A to company B, negociating contracts, sleeping in hotels and stuff...
Now, I have always been interested by police work, but I don't want to be a bobby on the beat, I don't even qualify because I have been living in France for the last 13 years, even though I am a British Citizen.
So really, I suppose I need a career path that would be viable with a masters degree in international business, but that differs from buying/selling...
Just throwing this out there, if ever anyone can come up with anything,
Thanks guys !
But we haven't even met!
