Hi there !!
Being new here, I hope I am in the right part of the forum. I am Maroua, an International student, born on November the 4th, 1995. After working hard in order to get my foundation at kings, I thought the harder was behind me ... h*** no ! Being 17 on entry, I AM NOT ABLE TO RENT A ROOM in my chosen place, I wanted to get one in the shared studio at nido's, I asked if it was possible for my parents to give a guarantee for the 5 weeks before my BirthD... negative ! Is it normal , or even LEGAL to provide people having their Baccalauréat and an offer from a university of choosing a room just because they are born in the last 4 months of the year ? Has anyone encountered such a hassle ? Please advice

Under UK law, it is not possible for someone who is under 18 to sign a legally binding contract, so Nido are acting entirely sensibly and legally.
I would suggest that you go into university halls, who tend to be more willing to take the risk on the grounds that they can withhold your degree if you don't pay up. Uni halls are generally more sociable and not a complete rip off as Nido is anyway.
