    For a Cos/Sin graph does every value between 1 and -1 have 4 corresponding angles? two negative and two positive but with the same magnitude? (E.G 270, 90, -270, -90)

    And for a Tan graph does every imaginable value (as they are infinitely limited) have 4 angle values?

    It makes sense in my head but i just want to make sure! a simple Yes/No would surffice

    In a word no.

    There are an infinite number of angles for each value.

    In the interval -360 \leq x \leq 360 degrees there might not be 4 answers e.g. \cos x = 1

    Its also not true to say that sin(-x) = sin(x) though this is true for cos.
    So the solutions may not have the same magnitude.
