I've been on the combined pill for a month now and at the time my period was due just as I was about to go off of it, I started having nausea, indigestion like symptoms and headaches. I brushed it off as PMS but I've gone back on the pill now from after my 7 day break in which I had my period and I still have these indigestion symptoms and nausea every night, with a few headaches as well. I wonder if this is my body adapting still or maybe this pill isn't for me? Or could this just be an illness? I felt fine just after my period for a few days and it was great and now suddenly I feel ill again. Anyone else had this?

I can't say I've ever had these symptoms with my pill, have you read the little booklet that comes with them? I know it sounds useless but they list side effects and suggest their severity which might help to indicate whether your symptoms are abnormal or not. I'd also suggest seeing a GP, or the nurse who put you on them in the first place; do you have a review or follow up appointment soon? If not, go and ask for a follow up appointment as the medication is proving a problem - they will be able to shed some light on what might be causing your problems and whether a switch of pill is needed
