Hi I'm 35 and I'm thinking of going back to college to study midwifery. I need to study an access to science course first. I'm very worried about whether or not I'm able to do this as I'm not an academic person, and I also have two young children. If there's anyone with any advice or guidance that would be much appreciated

    Hi,
Can't offer any advice but i'm 36 and just been accepted onto the Access course for nursing, I have 3 kids also so I can empathise with your situation.

I haven't done anything academic for many years but I think my motivation is alot different now to when I was 16!

Good luck if you choose to do it, I decided now was the right time for me and i'm just going all out to do my best.

Hi guys am an adult student and 3 quarters through my access course, have for 3 kids. Found access course to be very intense and requires a lot of dedication and commitment. If you really want it, you can do it, you just have to go an extra mile! Good luck ladies.
