Hello ! Its my first question here
    So my subjects are,
    Economics HL
    English Lang & Lit HL
    Business & Management HL
    ESS SL
    French B SL
    Maths SL
We got our first set of predicted grades and i got a 36/42
These ones dont matter but I was wondering
    Is that good enough ?
I m looking to apply for NUS, NYU (Abu Dhabi) and other ones in America with good financial aid
Where do I possibly stand ?
    Thanks xx

Does NUS refer to National University of Singapore? If so, I don't think 36 would make it. I know a person who got 37 but didnt get into NUS. It depends on the course as well, but with a 36 it would still be difficult.

Oh you meant over 42, well if you can get 3 bonus points then with 39 you should be able to get accepted if you dont apply for really crazy courses like medicine/law. What course do you intend to apply for?

But if you're are an international applicant it might be tougher because I think nus has a set quota for them. So competition might be higher.

Good luck then =). I think you should just try if you have more than 36 points though. Because nus doesn't actually state what the cut off point for IB due to the relatively small number of IB applicants I think. The local system mainly uses a Singapore version of A levels, and polytechnic GPA. I just have this impression NUS needs high points because I applied to a rather competitive course...
